MEMORY
In the Jorge Newbery Metropolitan Airport, a new multilevel building was completed in June 2017 to meet the growing demand by passengers and airport employees for parking spaces.
The new building is in the southern sector of the airport, following the line built in front of the Río de la Plata, connected to the existing parking building (Building II). It is a six-level concrete construction with a capacity for 720 garages.
The need for garages had become critical in the area before this build due to the lack of alternatives for parking in the airport environment and the modality that allows passengers to leave their vehicle parked when they start their trip and withdraw it upon return.
