MEMORY
The new control tower of the San Fernando International Airport will have a height of 34.79 meters, with the observation plane at 29.76 meters. The work with its reinforced concrete completed today, rises to the right of the current passenger terminal.

On the ground floor, all technical requirements will be resolved (reserve tanks, TGBT and GEL room), while the shaft will have six levels that will concentrate the means of vertical circulation, paliers and services. At the head there will be an office level for the ground control service, another with the rest area, and a third technical level with spaces for racks and ventilation equipment. The control cabin will have capacity for five workstations.

The construction of a new control tower becomes necessary as the current one will be limited in its vision once the new passenger terminal is built at the southeast end of the airport.

Although the San Fernando airport does not receive regular commercial flights, its intense civil and executive aviation activity makes it the third airport with the highest movement of aircraft in Argentina, after Aeroparque Jorge Newbery and Ezeiza.
